Overview

• RJD and Congress leaders said the Mahagathbandhan’s seat distribution will be announced within days, while VIP chief Mukesh Sahani indicated the bloc will also name its chief ministerial and deputy chief ministerial faces by Wednesday.
• A reported INDIA-bloc formula cited by The New Indian Express assigns 125 seats to RJD, 55–57 to Congress, 35 to the Left, 20 to VIP, three to RLJP and two to JMM, though Left leaders signaled dissatisfaction with their share.
• CPI (M-L) Liberation rejected an RJD offer of 19 seats as unacceptable and submitted a fresh list of around 30 constituencies it described as non-negotiable.
