Biglaw Firms Continue to Raise Salaries and Bonuses

Fried Frank, Davis Polk, and Sidley announce compensation increases in line with market leaders Cravath and Milbank.

Biglaw firms continue to increase salaries and bonuses for associates, following the lead of Cravath and Milbank.
Fried Frank, ranked 53rd on the Am Law 100, has announced raises and year-end bonuses in line with the top-of-the-market rate.
Davis Polk, ranked 20th on the Am Law 100, has also chosen to use the Cravath scale for its compensation increases, with salaries for associates ranging from $225,000 to $435,000 depending on their class year.
Sidley, ranked 6th on the Am Law 100, has announced raises in line with the Cravath scale, with a notable exception for ninth-year associates, whose salaries have been standardized at $445,000.
Along with the raises, firms are also announcing year-end bonuses, with amounts varying based on class year and, in some cases, individual performance.
