Big Little Lies Season 3 in Early Stages of Development

Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman Collaborate with Original Author for New Season

HBO's CEO Casey Bloys has confirmed that a third season of the popular series Big Little Lies is in the early stages of development.
Stars and executive producers Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman have been in touch with the author of the original novel, Liane Moriarty, about expanding the storyline and characters.
David E. Kelley, who adapted the novel into the first two seasons of the series, is expected to be involved in the third season.
The entire cast is currently busy with other projects, so aligning their schedules and getting the season written are the main challenges at this stage.
Witherspoon and Kidman have been actively working on the development of the third season.
