Big East Unveils 2025–26 Slate as St. John’s Lands Record MSG Home Lineup

The schedule elevates the Red Storm’s profile with marquee Garden dates for the defending Big East champions.

Overview

  • St. John’s opens Big East play at Carnesecca Arena on Dec. 16 against DePaul, according to the league’s release.
  • The Red Storm will play 12 regular-season games at Madison Square Garden plus an exhibition, with a program-record nine conference games in the building.
  • UConn’s league schedule includes a trip to face St. John’s at MSG on Feb. 6, with the return meeting set for Feb. 25 in Hartford.
  • Xavier, now coached by Richard Pitino, visits St. John’s at MSG on Feb. 9, setting up a regular father–son coaching matchup in conference play.
