‘Big City Greens’ Creators Secure Multi-Year Deal with Disney Branded TV

Chris and Shane Houghton, creators of ‘Big City Greens,’ have inked a multi-year deal with Disney Branded Television.
Under the new agreement, the Houghtons will produce both animated and live-action projects for Disney, with opportunities for adult animation with 20th Television Animation.
‘Big City Greens’ has been a major success, ranking as the No. 2 most-watched kids animated series of 2023 with over 2 billion hours watched.
The deal also paves the way for a ‘Big City Greens’ movie set to premiere this summer.
The Houghtons’ work is heavily influenced by their childhood in St. Johns, Michigan, with many characters inspired by real-life family members and townsfolk.
