Bienestar Pension Registration Ends Sunday

Final enrollment days require surname-based in-person sign-up or an online request for a domiciliary visit while federal payments will be deposited by surname into Banco del Bienestar accounts.

Overview

  • Registration for the two federal Bienestar programs — Pensión para las Personas Adultas Mayores (65+) and Pensión Mujeres Bienestar (women 60–64) — closes on Sunday, June 28, so eligible people have only days left to enroll.
  • The government is using a surname calendar to stagger in-person intake at welfare modules that operate daily from 10:00 to 16:00 and will allow anyone to register regardless of letter on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28.
  • Applicants must bring an official ID, CURP printout, birth certificate, proof of address dated within six months, and a contact phone number to complete face-to-face registration.
  • Those unable to attend a module can request a domiciliary visit through the Secretaría de Bienestar portal (www.gob.mx/bienestar), and staff will follow up to schedule the home visit.
  • Federal bimonthly benefit amounts are 3,100 pesos for Mujeres Bienestar and 6,400 pesos for the 65+ pension with an automatic transition at age 65, and the July–August payments will be staggered by surname and begin in early July while some states such as Baja California are opening separate local programs with their own July registration and lower bimonthly grants.
