Overview
- Registration for the federal Mujeres Bienestar (women 60–64) and the Adultos Mayores pension (65+) is open through Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026, and people who miss the window must wait for the next call.
- Applicants must bring a valid photo ID, a recent printed CURP, a birth certificate and a proof of address no older than three to six months depending on local rules to complete enrollment at a module.
- Mexicali officials said they are accepting all eligible people regardless of surname instead of following the national alphabet schedule, and local targets are 8,000 women and 9,000 older adults with about 2,700 registrations reported so far.
- Modules operate daily from 9:00 to 16:00 and locations can be checked on the Secretaría del Bienestar portal while local teams of registration staff are deployed to speed processing at sites such as the Palacio Federal.
- Authorities expect Tarjeta del Bienestar bank cards to be issued by late 2026 or January and the first bimonthly deposits in the opening 2027 payment period with officials noting benefits could be adjusted next year for inflation.
