Biden nominates Lt. Gen. Timothy Haugh as director of NSA and Cyber Command

President Biden nominated Air Force Lt. Gen. Timothy Haugh to serve as the director of the NSA and U.S. Cyber Command.
Haugh currently serves as the deputy commander of U.S. Cyber Command and has years of experience in cyber operations.
If confirmed, Haugh would replace Gen. Paul Nakasone, who plans to step down later this year after leading the agencies since 2018.
Haugh's nomination may face obstacles in the Senate due to Sen. Tommy Tuberville placing holds on all Defense Department nominations to protest the agency's abortion travel policy.
