Authorities have identified the remains found Nov. 3 in Whiteriver as 16-year-old Challistia 'Tia' Lulani Colelay and ruled the case a homicide. The Bureau of Indian Affairs announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction in the killing. Federal agents, Navajo County Search and Rescue, White Mountain tribal game rangers, and White Mountain Apache Police are searching the Knots Landing area for evidence. Arizona DPS says no Turquoise Alert was issued because the investigating agency did not submit a formal request under the state's activation process.
