Overview

• Tshering Tobgay and his spouse offered prayers to Ram Lalla, performed aarti, and took charanamrit during a visit of about one hour and forty minutes inside the complex.
• He also toured Hanumangarhi, Ram Darbar, Kuber Tila, Jatayu, and Sapt Mandapam, observing murals and temple carvings.
• He arrived around 9:30 am on a special Indian Air Force flight and was received with a red‑carpet welcome by Uttar Pradesh minister Surya Pratap Shahi and local officials.
• Authorities deployed PAC, CRPF, SSF, civil police, ATS, and STF units, with brief traffic restrictions for the convoy.
• After a special lunch in Ayodhya, Tobgay flew to New Delhi, where External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar lauded the ‘time-tested’ India–Bhutan partnership.
