Bhoge Tops Recurve Qualifying as India Takes No. 2 Team Seed in Dhaka

  • Rookie Anshika Kumari scored 660 for fifth in women’s recurve, helping India land the No. 2 team seed on the opposite half of the draw from top-seeded South Korea.
  • Atanu Das marked his return with seventh place on 668 as Rahul placed 11th; Dhiraj Bommadevara finished 13th and missed the men’s team cut.
  • India’s compound women swept four of the top five in qualification, led by Deepshikha (705) with Jyothi Surekha Vennam (703) and Prithika Pradeep (702) forming the top-seeded team set to face Vietnam.
  • In men’s compound, Abhishek Verma scored 713 for second behind Korea’s Kim Jongho (715) with Sahil Jadhav (709) and Prathamesh Fuge (707) securing the No. 2 team seed, while Prathamesh Jawkar placed 11th and missed selection.
