• Addressing invitees at Vigyan Bhawan, Mohan Bhagwat said people of the subcontinent share the same DNA and culture, calling harmony the core of identity.
• He described ‘Hindu Rashtra’ as a concept rooted in justice and equality rather than power, urging social transformation led by society beyond politics.
• Around 1,300 guests from the judiciary, armed forces, diplomacy, arts and sport are attending, with envoys from the United States and China present and Pakistan and Bangladesh not invited.
• The three-day series is being livestreamed, with two days of lectures followed by a third-day session answering pre-submitted questions from participants.
• Organisers said similar events will follow in Bengaluru, Kolkata and Mumbai, alongside door-to-door outreach, large Hindu sammelans and targeted expansion of shakhas, including in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
