Overview

• Organizers announced four additions: the world premiere of Samuel Abrahams’ Lady and U.K. premieres of Paolo Sorrentino’s La Grazia, Claire Denis’ The Fence, and Gastón Solnicki’s The Souffleur.
• The 69th BFI London Film Festival runs Oct. 8–19, with screening slots for the new titles scheduled between Oct. 16 and 19 at venues including BFI Southbank and the Royal Festival Hall.
• La Grazia reaches London after its Venice debut, screens in the Journey strand, reunites Sorrentino with Toni Servillo, and is handled in the U.K. by Mubi.
• The Fence, adapted from Bernard‑Marie Koltès’ play, is set in the Dare strand with Isaach de Bankolé and Matt Dillon, with Goodfellas handling the title.
• The Souffleur, a Vienna‑set dark comedy starring Willem Dafoe, plays in the Love strand with Magnify on distribution, while Lady premieres in Dare led by Sian Clifford.
