Beyoncé has revealed a new trailer for her concert film, 'Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé', which provides an intimate glimpse into her highest-grossing tour and offers insights into her experiences balancing a demanding music career with motherhood.
The film captures Beyoncé's 'Renaissance' tour and is set to be released on December 1, World AIDS Day, in honor of her late Uncle Jonny, who died of AIDS-related complications.
Directed by Beyoncé herself, the film is set to premiere in Los Angeles on November 25, followed by a London premiere on November 30, before being released in theatres worldwide.
With the Renaissance tour stopping in 39 cities across 12 countries and playing to 2.7 million fans, it grossed $580 million, making it one of the highest-grossing concert tours of all time.
The film will include a mix of tour highlights and behind-the-scenes footage, showing Beyoncé with her husband Jay-Z, their family, and her team as they prepare for shows.
In addition to extensive tour footage, the film will also feature visuals for the long-awaited Renaissance album, originally released in July 2022.
In the trailer, Beyoncé expresses her dedication to her fans and her journey of self-discovery saying, “It’s a new birth. I hope you feel liberated, but the Renaissance is not over.”
