Beyoncé and Jay-Z bought a $200 million mansion in Malibu, breaking the record for the most expensive home ever purchased in California.
The 30,000-square-foot estate was designed by renowned architect Tadao Ando and overlooks the Pacific Ocean.
The couple paid for the entire property in cash, adding to their already extensive real estate portfolio which includes homes in Bel-Air, New York City, and the Hamptons.
Jay-Z, whose net worth is estimated at $2.5 billion, and Beyoncé, who is currently on the billion-dollar "Renaissance" tour, beat out the former owner who had bought the property decades ago for $14.5 million.
The Zen-inspired mansion features a private beach, infinity pool, and is considered an architectural landmark.
