Betty Gilpin to Replace Cole Escola in Broadway Hit 'Oh, Mary!'

Betty Gilpin, known for her Emmy-nominated performance in 'Glow', will make her Broadway debut as Mary Todd Lincoln for a limited eight-week engagement starting January 21, 2025.
'Oh, Mary!' has been a major success, breaking box office records at the Lyceum Theatre 10 times and becoming the first show of the 2024-2025 season to recoup its production costs.
The play reimagines Mary Todd Lincoln's life through a comedic lens, blending unfulfilled dreams, suppressed desires, and absurdity in a one-act format directed by Sam Pinkleton.
Tickets are on sale through June 28, 2025, with no confirmation yet on who will take over the lead role after Gilpin's run ends, though Escola may return in the spring.
