Bethesda Announces Major 2024 Updates for Starfield Including First Story Expansion

New gameplay options, expanded ship customization, and official mod support among planned updates for the space RPG.

Bethesda has announced plans for Starfield in 2024, including updates every six weeks starting in February, new gameplay and ship options, and the first story expansion, Shattered Space.
New gameplay options will allow players to adjust difficulty settings, customize carry capacity, cargo access distance, ship damage, vendor credits, and introduce new survival mechanics.
Ship customization will be expanded with new decorations and building options.
Official mod support will be introduced with the launch of Creations, providing players with a Creation Kit for developing their own mods.
The Shattered Space expansion will feature new story content, locations, and gear.
