• The one-night-only benefit performance will open at 7 p.m. on September 15 to raise funds for Classic Stage Company’s programming.
• Tony winners Beth Leavel and Jessie Mueller will portray the estranged mother-daughter duo at the heart of The Rink’s reconciliation-driven story.
• Dave Solomon will direct with Greg Jarrett as music director, Shannon Lewis choreographing, Sam Davis supervising music and casting by Alaine Aldaffer and Lisa Donadio.
• Tickets for the benefit concert are priced from $100 to $500, with underwriting packages beginning at $1,000.
• Originally premiering on Broadway in 1984 starring Chita Rivera and Liza Minnelli, The Rink features iconic songs such as “Colored Lights” and “Chief Cook and Bottle Washer.”
