Overview

• The 25th BET Awards will air live from Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater on June 9, 2025, at 8 PM ET/PT, hosted by comedian Kevin Hart.
• The first wave of performers includes Lil Wayne, Teyana Taylor, Playboi Carti, GloRilla, and Leon Thomas, with additional acts to be announced.
• Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with ten nods, followed by Doechii, Drake, Future, and GloRilla with six each, Metro Boomin with five, and SZA and The Weeknd with four apiece.
• Teyana Taylor will creatively direct a 106 & Park tribute featuring original hosts AJ Calloway, Free Marie Wright, and others, alongside performances by Bow Wow, Amerie, B2K, Jim Jones, Mya, and T.I.
• The BET Experience 2025, a four-day fan event, will precede the awards show, celebrating Black culture and creativity with immersive activities.
