Overview
- BEST confirmed 25 additional buses will operate each day through Oct. 1 to serve Mahalaxmi Yatra and Navratri crowds.
- Dedicated services will run from Mumbai Central and Shivajinagar depots directly to the Mahalaxmi Temple.
- Enhanced operations cover key corridors including Byculla Station (W)–Breach Candy Hospital, Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk–Breach Candy Hospital, Colaba Bus Station–Santacruz Depot, and Mumbai Central Depot–Electric House.
- Peak-hour specials will run from Prabodhankar Thackeray Udyan (Sewri) via Lalbaug, Chinchpokli, Satrasta and Mahalaxmi Railway Station to the shrine.
- Timings and frequency are being increased on routes passing the temple, with BEST urging devotees to use these services to reduce congestion.
