Overview
- Embraer, lessor Regional One and BermudAir announced Sept. 16–17 that BermudAir will operate one converted E190 freighter leased from Regional One.
- The aircraft will be the first E190F deployed in the Americas and makes BermudAir only the second global operator after Bridges Air Malta.
- Embraer markets the E190F as offering more than 100 cubic metres of cargo volume and up to 13.5 tonnes of payload for express and time‑sensitive freight.
- BermudAir’s freighter plans remain subject to regulatory approval and the companies have not published a firm delivery date or operational start time.
- The move builds on a program launched in 2022 that won EASA certification in early 2025, has seen two converted E190s delivered to Bridges Air Malta, and is supported by lessor orders from Regional One and Azorra.
