Berlin's 'Weihnachten im Tierpark' Opens with Lights, Ice Skating, and Festive Fun

The fifth annual 'Weihnachten im Tierpark' opened on November 22, transforming Tierpark Berlin into a winter wonderland with illuminated trails and festive attractions.
This year's theme, 'The Magic of Fantasy,' includes a new lighted pathway, a colorful illuminated tunnel, and a lit-up facade of Schloss Friedrichsfelde.
Visitors can enjoy a free ice skating rink, food and drink stalls, and special events like children's readings and craft workshops.
Tickets range from €15.50 to €28.50, with discounts for families and children, and are cheaper when purchased online in advance.
The event runs on select days through January 12, with opening hours extending into the evening until 9 or 10 PM.
