Berlin’s A100 Toward Wedding Faces Four-Week Resurfacing With Phased Ramp Closures Starting Sunday

Authorities call on motorists to steer clear to keep the Britzer Tunnel open.

Overview

  • The main carriageway toward Wedding is being resurfaced from October 12 to November 8, with lanes reduced before the Britzer Tunnel and the Treptow direction unaffected.
  • Phase 1 (October 13–19): the right lane closes and the Gradestraße and Oberlandstraße ramps are shut, with a diversion via Tempelhofer Damm.
  • Phase 2 (October 20–November 2): traffic narrows to a single lane and all four ramps—Gradestraße, Oberlandstraße, Tempelhofer Damm, Alboinstraße—are closed, with detours via Kreuz Schöneberg and Sachsendamm.
  • Phase 3 (November 3–8): Tempelhofer Damm and Alboinstraße remain closed, and drivers should use Oberlandstraße to exit.
  • Short full closures are scheduled for October 12 (A100 closed 4:00–12:00 with exit via Buschkrugallee) and for October 19 and November 2 (A113 traffic diverted at Späthstraße).
