Berlin Zoo's Panda Twins Thriving as They Approach Crawling Stage

Born on August 22, the panda cubs are healthy, active, and drawing significant visitor interest to the zoo.

The panda twins, each weighing around five kilograms, are developing well and are close to reaching the crawling stage, according to the Berlin Zoo.
Visitors can view one of the twins daily between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM, with shorter lines now recommended around 2:00 PM.
The zoo has seen a 30% increase in visitor numbers between October 16 and November 16 compared to the same period last year.
During the autumn holidays, the zoo hosted 600 to 700 visitors per time slot, though attendance has since normalized.
Zoo officials attribute the rise in attendance partially to the pandas, while noting that favorable weather also played a role.
