Panda twins Leni and Lotti, born on August 22, 2024, in Berlin Zoo, have started walking as of the New Year.
The cubs have moved from their crib to a playroom, where they can crawl, climb, and explore their surroundings.
Zoo Director Andreas Knieriem reports that the twins are showing excellent progress in coordination and behavior, describing them as curious and playful.
Visitors can observe the young pandas daily for an hour in the Panda Garden, where they are now more active and mobile.
Leni and Lotti are the second panda twins born in Germany, following their brothers Pit and Paule, who now reside in China at the Chengdu Panda Base.
