Berlin Zoo Debuts Panda Twins Leni and Lotti with Mother Meng Meng

Leni and Lotti, panda twins born on August 22, 2024, are now on display at the Berlin Zoo alongside their mother Meng Meng.
This marks only the second time pandas have been successfully born in Germany, following the birth of twins Pit and Paule in 2019.
The pandas have started playful behaviors like climbing, cuddling, and nibbling on bamboo as they continue to develop well under zoo care.
The panda family has the freedom to retreat to private areas for rest, so visitors are advised to have patience, with mornings offering the best chance to see them active.
The Berlin Zoo had previously been closed due to precautions against foot-and-mouth disease but has since reopened without restrictions for the pandas.
