Overview

• The Landesverband Berlin der Gartenfreunde will host Tag des Gartens on June 8 in Stadtpark Lichtenberg.
• The schedule opens at 11:30 AM with a guided visit to the Alwin Bielefeldt allotment garden.
• From noon to 6 PM all 15 Berlin district garden associations will showcase informational stands on ecological gardening, water management and heritage vegetable varieties.
• Visitors can join sports and play activities, learn herbal crafts, build mini-greenhouses or take part in quizzes and a prize wheel.
• City senators Ute Bonde, Christian Gaebler, Franziska Giffey and Stefan Evers are expected to attend.
