Berlin Teen Arrested After Violent Attack on Elderly Woman Using Mobility Aid

A 19-year-old man, known to police, assaulted an 84-year-old woman in Spandau, leaving her injured and in shock.

The incident occurred on Monday afternoon on Seegefelder Straße in Berlin-Spandau.
The 19-year-old suspect pushed the elderly woman from her electric rollator, causing her to hit her head on the street.
After the initial attack, the suspect reportedly lifted the rollator and threw it onto the woman as she lay on the ground.
The victim suffered injuries and was treated at a hospital, while also experiencing significant emotional distress.
Police, who were already familiar with the suspect, took him into custody following the attack.
