Overview
- Closures took effect today, limiting the U1 to Uhlandstraße–Wittenbergplatz and cutting the U3 between Spichernstraße and Gleisdreieck.
- The U3 continues to run between Gleisdreieck and Warschauer Straße, and the entire U4 line is out of service.
- Replacement buses operate between Spichernstraße and Wittenbergplatz and cover the full U4 corridor.
- Nollendorfplatz is served only by the U2 during the works, with a planned return to four-minute intervals this month supported by new JK trainsets.
- BVG estimates the project cost at about €4.3 million and says the affected lines carry roughly 560,000 daily riders.
