Berlin Senior and Grandson Threatened During Apartment Robbery

The intruders stole jewelry and perfume valued in the four-figure range before being confronted by the woman and her grandson.
The woman initially fled her apartment to call her 23-year-old grandson but encountered one of the burglars upon returning, leading to a physical altercation.
One of the burglars threatened the woman with a baton-like object, and the trio fled on foot shortly after.
During a brief car pursuit by the grandson, one of the suspects brandished a firearm, forcing him to abandon the chase; police are investigating the incident.
