Berlin Police Seize Cash and Drugs in Major Dealer Arrest

A 39-year-old man was arrested in Friedenau following the discovery of drugs and cash linked to extensive trafficking activities.

Authorities confiscated approximately €500,000 in cash along with cocaine, MDMA, and cannabis products from the suspect's residence.
The raid also uncovered a firearm and digital storage devices, which are now under analysis by investigators.
Evidence from the encrypted messaging service EncroChat suggested the suspect's involvement in drug transactions between March and June 2020.
During this period, the suspect allegedly dealt in large quantities of drugs, including 4kg of crystal meth and 116kg of cocaine.
Officials estimate the suspect's illegal activities generated around €3 million in revenue.
