  • On February 24 at around 11:45 a.m., five young men rang the doorbell of an apartment on Boppstraße in Kreuzberg and forced their way inside.
  • The suspects struck the 84-year-old man in the face and upper body and covered the mouth of his 82-year-old wife to silence her.
  • After ransacking the couple’s flat and stealing cash, the group fled on foot toward Schönleinstraße.
  • The victims were taken to hospital and treated for injuries sustained during the home invasion.
