Overview

• Police were alerted around 20:00 Saturday to a report of a man exposing himself in front of guests at a restaurant on Mauerstraße.
• Officers identified a 44-year-old suspect who, according to police, was defecating on the street while a witness gave a statement.
• The man denied the allegation when addressed by officers before moving toward them, stumbling after an officer held him back with an outstretched arm.
• After getting up, he allegedly attempted to strike an officer, who avoided the blow, and the suspect was then arrested without further resistance.
• Police reported no injuries and said the suspect was placed in custody, processed, and transferred to the LKA’s sexual-offences division on suspicion of exhibitionist conduct and assault on officers.
