• Key arteries around the Straße des 17. Juni are already shut, with the closure extended to the Großer Stern from Sept. 17 and additional blocks around the government quarter set from Sept. 18–22, while the core stretch remains closed through Sept. 24.
• Race day timing is fixed: wheelchair racers and handbikers start at 8:50, the main field sets off in four waves from 9:15, and the final finishers are expected around 16:15.
• Saturday’s program includes the R5K, Mini-Marathon and the inlineskating race, triggering morning and midday restrictions on Unter den Linden, Potsdamer Straße and the skater loop until cleaning and reopening by mid-afternoon.
• Police urge residents to avoid driving and use public transport or bicycles, with tunnels at Alexanderplatz and Tiergarten remaining open and the A100 available for limited crossings.
• Coverage will air live on RTL from 8:30 to 12:30 with a paid RTL+ stream; warm, largely dry conditions are forecast, and organisers say the race proceeds unless the DWD issues a weather warning.
