Berlin Gas Station Employee Thwarts Armed Robbery

A 29-year-old worker repelled two masked assailants with thrown objects after being threatened with a pistol and pepper spray.

The attempted robbery occurred Monday evening at a gas station on Lichterfelder Ring in Berlin-Marienfelde.
Two masked individuals demanded cash while threatening the employee with a pistol and pepper spray.
The worker refused to comply and drove the attackers away by throwing objects at them.
One of the assailants discharged pepper spray, causing eye and respiratory irritation to the employee, who was later treated at a hospital.
The suspects fled the scene on foot toward Waldsassener Straße, and police are investigating the incident.
