Overview
- Dresden will close six outdoor facilities after Sunday, 7 September: Stauseebad Cossebaude, Naturbad Mockritz, the Freibäder Wostra and Cotta, Waldbad Langebrück and Luftbad Dözschen.
- Five Dresden sites stay open one week longer, including Georg-Arnhold-Bad, Kombibad Prohlis, Strandbad Wostra and the bathing spots Weixdorf and Weißig, as indoor venues move to extended winter hours with Prohlis already running daily from 10 to 22.
- In Berlin, five summer pools have their last day on Sunday: Sommerbad Wilmersdorf, Sommerbad Am Insulaner, Sommerbad Neukölln, the Sommerbad at Kombibad Seestraße and Kindersommerbad Monbijou.
- Nine other Berlin summer pools and one children’s pool remain open beyond the weekend with set dates: Staaken West, Humboldthain and Wuhlheide to 12 September; Pankow and Platsch to 14 September; Mariendorf to 16 September; Olympiastadion and Strandbad Wannsee to 21 September; Kreuzberg and the Sommerbad at Kombibad Gropiusstadt to the end of September.
- Berlin’s indoor season restarts in the first week after school begins, with several reopenings delayed for maintenance—Allendeviertel from 19 September, Charlottenburg and Finckensteinallee from 22 September, Spandau Süd from 25 September, Sewanstraße from 6 October and Kreuzberg from 20 October—while schools and clubs use replacement locations and outdoor schedules may change at short notice depending on weather.
