Berlin Deploys AI Video Pilot at Kottbusser Tor

Officials say the system will flag unusual movement patterns for human review and could be widened to other high-crime sites if tests show it works.

Die BPE befasst sich überwiegend mit der polizeilichen Arbeit an den kriminalitätsbelasteten Orten der Direktion 5 (City). Schwerpunkte sind, neben dem Alexanderplatz und der Warschauer Brücke, der Görlitzer Park und das Gebiet rund um das Kottbusser Tor. Die Polizei darf dort künftig KI einsetzen.
