Berlin Bus Driver Attacked with Pepper Spray During Night Shift Break

An unidentified assailant attacked the driver after being denied entry to the bus during a scheduled pause.

The incident occurred around 1:15 AM in the Lichtenberg district of Berlin, near the Tierpark.
The attacker initially asked to board the bus during the driver's break, but was refused entry.
Shortly after the refusal, the assailant returned and sprayed a pepper-like substance into the driver's face.
The bus driver suffered eye and mucous membrane irritation and was treated at a hospital.
The perpetrator fled the scene, and police are investigating the assault.
