Overview
- Bentley publicly revealed the Torcal on September 23, 2026, announcing that customers can now specify cars and that production will begin in the second quarter of 2027 at its Crewe plant.
- The Torcal is a dual-motor SUV offered in two trims with Bentley-quoted outputs of 603 kW and 653 kW, and 0–60 mph times of about 3.4 and 2.9 seconds respectively.
- Bentley says the Torcal uses a 113 kWh battery on an 800V electrical system, claims up to 600 km WLTP range, and supports up to 400 kW DC charging that it says can take the battery from 10 to 80 percent in about 16 minutes.
- The company has set a starting price in the mid-£100,000s and reports strong global interest split roughly half from existing customers and half from new buyers, which Bentley says could open new markets for the marque.
- Bentley built the Torcal on Volkswagen Group/Porsche-derived architecture but stresses bespoke calibration of steering, brakes and software, and the car debuts new luxury materials and tech such as certified merino wool trim, OLED displays, facial recognition and advanced seat massage and climate systems.
