Benjamin Guiver Sentenced to 20 Years for Violent Home Assault

Guiver brutally attacked and sexually assaulted a woman in her home, leaving her with severe injuries and lifelong trauma.

Benjamin Guiver, 35, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for a violent attack and sexual assault on a woman in Goodwick, Pembrokeshire.
The assault occurred on May 24, 2024, when Guiver entered the victim's home and attacked her as she slept on the sofa.
The victim suffered serious injuries, including fractures, bruising, and the loss of a fingernail and tooth, requiring extensive medical care.
Guiver, who has a previous conviction for assault, pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including grievous bodily harm and sexual assault.
A restraining order and indefinite placement on the sex offender register were also imposed on Guiver following his sentencing.
