Benin Athlete Odile Ahouanwanou Missing in France for a Week

French police are appealing for witnesses after the 33-year-old track and field athlete was last seen on September 10.

Odile Ahouanwanou, a Beninese track and field athlete, has been missing since September 10, 2024.
She was last seen dropping off her child at a carer's home in Neufchâtel-en-Bray, Normandy.
Authorities have launched an appeal for information and witnesses to help locate Ahouanwanou.
Ahouanwanou, who trains in France, was driving a Volkswagen Polo at the time of her disappearance.
She is known for finishing eighth in the heptathlon at the 2019 World Athletics Championships.
