- An Independent Safety Assessment certificate from Siemens is expected by July 8 to greenlight driverless service
- The Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety will inspect the 18.8 km corridor and its 16 stations on July 15–16
- BMRCL plans to start commercial operations in early August with three driverless trains running at 25-minute intervals
- The Yellow Line links R V Road to Bommasandra and serves major hubs including Silk Board Junction and Electronics City
- Full-capacity service with 15 trains and five-minute peak-hour frequencies is scheduled for March 2026
