Bengaluru Traffic Alert as Festival Crowds Pack Bellary Road and Sarjapur White-Topping Starts Sept. 30

Overview

  • Bengaluru Traffic Police warned of heavy congestion on Bellary Road from September 28 to October 2 due to large Navratri and Durga Puja gatherings at Palace Grounds.
  • White-topping on Sarjapur Road begins September 30 between Automart Junction and Agara Junction and is expected to run for about two months.
  • One side of Sarjapur Road will be closed during the works, allowing movement only from Koramangala Jakkasandra toward Agara and the Outer Ring Road.
  • Vehicles from Agara or the Outer Ring Road toward Koramangala Jakkasandra will not be permitted during the closure period.
  • Commuters are directed to use the Agara Flyover upper ramp and the service road via 19th Main or 14th Main toward Automart Junction, with marshals deployed and signboards guiding traffic.
