Bengaluru Saree Trader, Aide and Third Suspect Held After Viral Assault on Woman

Police filed BNS assault charges after the video drew public complaints, with the woman jailed separately on a theft case.

  • The assault occurred on September 21 on Avenue Road in Chickpet, where bystander and CCTV videos show the men kicking, slapping and dragging the woman before handing her to police.
