• Reema Kumari, a 17-year-old from Bihar, was lured to Bengaluru by Ashiq Kumar with promises of marriage before her disappearance.
• Police allege Ashiq strangled her during an alcohol-fueled dispute at Mukesh Kumar’s home in Bommanahalli on the night of May 20.
• Six accomplices, including Mukesh Kumar and his wife, concealed her body in a suitcase and left it near Chandapura railway tracks, where it was found on May 21.
• Investigators used CCTV footage and vehicle registration data to trace the suspects to Nawada district and arrest them in Bihar on June 8.
• The adult accused have been remanded to six-day police custody and the detained minor has been sent to a juvenile home for further questioning.
