Overview

• The incident occurred around 3 am on August 29 at Laxmana Durga Ladies PG near Gangotri Circle in BTM Layout.
• Police say a masked intruder entered a resident’s room, touched her inappropriately, threatened her with a knife, scratched her, and took about Rs 2,500.
• CCTV captured the encounter and the woman pursuing the suspect into the corridor, and investigators say the footage has been verified.
• An FIR under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections 75, 76 and 329 has been registered at Suddaguntepalya police station, and teams are scanning nearby cameras to trace the unidentified man.
