Overview
- Following joint inspections, BMRCL and BMTC created or shifted BMTC stops to improve bus–metro transfers across the Yellow Line corridor.
- New stops now serve Biocon Hebbagodi, Beratena Agrahara, Singasandra, Hongasandra, Central Silk Board and R. V. Road stations.
- Existing stops at Electronics City, Hosa Road and Ragigudda were moved closer to stations, while Jayadeva, BTM Layout, Bommanahalli, Kudlu Gate and Infosys Foundation Konappana Agrahara already had stops within about 100 metres.
- Relocation was not feasible at Huskur Road and Delta Electronics Bommasandra due to space constraints, leaving longer walks for those stations.
- The seventh Yellow Line train set has reached the Hebbagodi depot, the sixth is slated to enter service on December 22 after tests, an eighth is expected by month-end and BMRCL targets peak headways of roughly 8–10 minutes once the expanded fleet is inducted; 12 feeder buses operate about 96 weekday trips from roughly 6:30 a.m. to 11:55 p.m.
