Overview
- Bagaluru police confirmed the arrest of Pushpalatha and cited Crime No. 261/2025 under Section 325 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 11(1)(l) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
 - The incident occurred on October 31 inside a building elevator and CCTV shows the pet, Goofy, being violently thrown, after which owner Rashi Poojary filed a complaint.
