Overview
- The collapse occurred Tuesday around 6.30 pm at a 20-foot-deep basement excavation in Sidharta Colony, according to police.
- Eight labourers were at work when soil supporting a pillar gave way; five escaped, one was injured, and two died at the scene.
- The deceased were identified as Lal Muddin, 32, and Razauddin Ansari, 33, both from Jharkhand; the injured worker, Saifulla, 28, is stable.
