Bengaluru Colleges Targeted by Hoax Bomb Threats, Prompting Police Response

Three major colleges in Bengaluru received email bomb threats, later confirmed as hoaxes, sparking an ongoing police investigation.

Bangalore Institute of Technology, BMS College of Engineering, and MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology received bomb threats via email.
Police and bomb disposal teams were quickly dispatched to the campuses, confirming the threats were hoaxes.
A case has been registered at Hanumanth Nagar Police Station to trace the origin of the emails.
Similar hoax bomb threats have been reported across other Indian cities, including recent incidents in Tiruchirappalli and Madurai.
